Assistant Professor Tenure-Track, Nutrition
The Department of Nutrition and Food Studies seeks a tenure-track assistant professor in Nutrition and Dietetics to join the NYU Steinhardt Department of Nutrition and Food Studies starting September 2020. We seek candidates with teaching, practice, and research experience in nutrition and dietetics to support our accredited didactic program in dietetics, dietetic internship, Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition, and PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics. The ideal candidate will have practice and research experience in community nutrition or nutrition/behavioral education and interventions in the areas of maternal and child nutrition, nutrition during other stages of the lifecycle, obesity and chronic disease, and nutrition needs of multicultural and underserved populations. Prior experience should complement existing faculty in nutrition and food studies and expand interdisciplinary collaboration in the Steinhardt School and the larger NYU community.
