WORK YEAR: Full-time, 260 day Qualifications:Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing child nutrition programs, such as free and reduced price means for needy students, USDA donated food usage and competitive food sales. Food sanitation principles and control of microbiological and physical contamination of food. Quantity food preparation, service, storage delivery, sanitation and safety. Principles of work scheduling and time.
Experience: Two (2) years in an administrative or supervisory experience in school food service, hospital food service, institutional or contract food service programs, or restaurant management.
Education: Any combination equivalent to two (2) years college level work in institutional food management, home economics, dietetics or nutrition.
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to communicate in Spanish.

Additional Salary Information: Classified Management Salary Schedule - $70,116 to $81,868 annually, depending upon experience, plus $1000 stipend for MA and PhD, and $800 stipend for demonstrated bilingual skills
