The Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for a 12-month non-tenure stream Assistant Professor position to serve as Director of the undergraduate program in Nutrition Science. Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include participation in undergraduate program direction and coordination, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, advising and mentoring students, as well as department, school and university governance and service. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in scholarly efforts consistent with the research mission and initiatives of the department.
Earned doctorate in Nutrition Science or other related science-based degree Experience in nutrition and/or dietetics practice for a minimum of three (3 years) College/university teaching and research experience Available to fill the position by May 1, 2019
