The University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track position in human nutrition at the Assistant/Associate Professor level within the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, in the Division of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Candidates should demonstrate the potential for outstanding research or in the professional practice of nutrition and dietetics. The successful applicant must also demonstrate strong potential for excellence in teaching in the nutrition and dietetic program, as well as at the graduate level. The successful applicant is expected to establish synergistic relationships with local and national professional associations, and within the University and the community.
A PhD in human nutrition is required with expertise in public health/community nutrition or a related field. The successful candidate must be a Registered Dietitian (RD), be eligible for registration in Saskatchewan by the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association, and obtain registration with the dietetic regulatory body in Saskatchewan within the first year of their appointment. Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $93,293 to $112,109; Associate Professor: $112,109 to $130,925.
